Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
Pixel Wallet is a personal finance app designed to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is stored.
Data stored on your device
All financial data you enter — transactions, categories, budgets, tags, receipt scans, and settings — is stored locally on your iPhone or Mac using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). Pixel Wallet does not require an account and does not upload your financial data to our servers.
No account required
You can use Pixel Wallet without creating an account or signing in. There is no cloud sync provided by the developer; your data stays where you put it.
Biometric lock (optional)
If you enable Face ID, Touch ID, or Optic ID, the app uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework to unlock the app on your device. Biometric data is never accessed or stored by Pixel Wallet — it is handled entirely by iOS.
Export and backup
You can export or back up your wallet data to a location you choose — such as the Files app, iCloud Drive, or another folder in cloud storage. Backups can be encrypted with a password you set. Pixel Wallet does not receive or store your backup files or passwords.
Receipt scanning
Receipt images and text recognition (OCR) are processed on your device. Receipt data is not sent to external servers for analysis.
Analytics and tracking
Pixel Wallet does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage or sell your data.
Children
Pixel Wallet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
